Heartbreaker
Surprise! I drew something that is not a knife. Yeah, I used to do that all the time. This is my first space ship. Well, it's far from my first, which I drew back in 1999. I have it somewhere. Gotta find it and make it my next non-knife project. I started drawing bladed weapons because I was already making those sorts of extreme, dangerous shapes in the form of space ships. I have The Phantom Menace to thank (or blame) for that. I loved the movie. Yup, I needed my Liam Neeson fix. I saw it in the theater with my youngest brother two or three times, then one day he started drawing lightsabers and blasters, and eventually he went more Medieval, while I started drawing ships, fast and sleek, inspired by the beauties in the movie. Then we swapped and I fell in love with those Shiny Dangerous Things.Still, I've always wanted to get back to the ships, but there was just too much to do. A couple weeks ago I finished my second knife for Almost Human and decided to take a break from the digital art. That lasted a whole day. So I went in a different direction instead, and here it is. Why Heartbreaker? Well, the wings make an accidental heart at the rear of the ship and Iron Man 3 is still on my mind.
